So I found a pretty good deal on a nice legitimate looking location that has room for a office/storefront and a shop/warehouse.  I sent in my application almost a month ago, although it only showed u pin the ATF's sytem a week ago.  The reason I started looking is that my HOA is changing their tune since I last talked to them and it seems like it would make for better manufacturer/distributor relationships anyway.

So the question is do I call the ATF now and somehow change the address or do I wait until my visit and the HOA issue comes up?  I'm just not sure how they handle changes of address, does it start everything over or is it maybe easier at some point or ??

I'd hate to start paying rent now which is what I'd have to do to change my address now but I'd really like the option that makes all of this go the smoothest.  Any input/ideas would be appreciated.

Wait till it reaches the local ATF office, and when the IOI calls you tell them then. You'll be able to change it during your intreview.

In case anybody has this same question in the future I thought I'd post a follow up

It turns out they are pretty easy going when it comes to address changes.  I called the field office yesterday to let them know and they said they we could update the actual application during the interview but they were happy to know about the change since it was a different city.  Knowing ahead of time will keep them from wasting time and I assume that translates into a happier person doing your interview.

This was for Dallas VI, but I'm sure YMMV with different offices

One other interesting thing he told me is that inspections usually take priority over inspections.

LOL... Ok I meant that he said new license qualifications take priority over inspections.
