Thinking of going the SOT route to build SBRs which are the only thing legal in my state (DE) just wondering on the level of redtape, timeframe, etc. Maybe any other pros and cons,

I also wanted to know if there were issues with me building NFA items that aren't legal in my state, and possessing them while for sale to buyers in another state. I am asking this, because I am very close to MD and PA, and both state are GTG when it comes to NFA.

Thanks

if you have an 07FFL then all you need to do to get the SOT is fill out the form and mail it in with a check and wait a few weeks.

Once you have the FFL getting your SOT is merely a matter of filing a form and writing a check.

The SOT year runs from July 1 through June 30.  Don't send in your form/check until early June or else they'll automatically count it for this year, and you'll have to pay again in a few months.

IMO it is so riddled with errors it is useless. I prefer the USCODE, CFR, etc.
