Well, I get to fill out my first Report for a multiple handgun sale and have a question regarding section 9 and 10. I am guessing type of identification means State issued drivers license or ID of some sort. Am I right or wrong on this one? I have no idea what they are asking for in section 10 where it says "ID state". Are hey asking for the number on the identification? I checked the guide and all it really says is when it needs to be filled out. So what information are they looking for in these sections?

8 - License Number
9 - Drivers LIcense / State ID card or whatever type of ID it is. 10 - State its issued by, such as OH. They have a fillable PDF at the ATF thats nice to use. |
| Thanks guys. I like the electronic version, but since I have the carbonized one pretty much filled out I'll just fax that in for now. I must admit, if I would have been paying attention to the identification number on the box it might have made more sense to me. I completely spaced that one out. I'm sure coming home after two days of doing a gunshow and lack of sleep didn't help. |
