Just wondering what accounting software everyone is using.  My lawyer that set up my LLC said to go with quickbooks, but I thought I would see what others use.  I am not going to have a store front and it will be a pretty small business.  Do any programs have a way to input and track inventory?  Thanks.

I have several businesses.  Go with quick books.  It will do everything you need and more.

QuickBooks is an excellent program.  It is designed so that you don't have to be an accountant to use it.

However, it is very possible to screw things up so bad that you will need an accountant to fix it.  Spend some money up front to have an accountant, who is knowledgeable in QuickBooks, set everything up, and get you started in the right direction.  It will be money well spent.

This.  If you are going to have a loan from the bank or if you have a large amount of your personal money tied up in the business, than an accountant is a must. Our accountant set us up with Quickbooks and it has made a great improvement in the way the store operates.

Microsoft Money, I tried Quickbooks and it seemed to me like you need to be an accountant just to use it YMMV
