The check list that came with the FFL packet has [Miscellaneous Number] as something i need to include on the card. What is that ? Also do i get finger printed in the town where i live or where i plan to do business or it doesnt matter ? thanks |
You must use the BATFE fingerprint card with the BATFE # already printed on it. You cannot use a "local" card.

They send you extras because there may be mistakes, smudges, etc. I was worried that my prints might get rejected because they were very faint. The agency I went to uses a scanner instead of ink. It took that deputy half an hour to do my prints.

I know during my process here in Arizona I had to send copies of both the application and fingerprint cards to several places, so I ended up using all of the fingerprint cards I was sent. |
