I have only ever used them on .308 rifles. Just my take. |

I am so physically broken that I won't be fighting off a mob of puppies let alone taking part in the lamepocaclypse. |

Didn't do shit for the 400 mile length of pull but at least there is a gun that makes the AUG look like it has a respectable trigger. ( I don't mind the AUG trigger but it ain't no M16, that is for sure ) https://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/23042/Break_Down-3172230.jpg I put on the Magpul MOE- K and took it off in 5 minutes. Made the gun incredibly uncomfortable. The angle was fine but the grip is so thin and the back of the gun so heavy that it actually squishes the gun onto the joint at the base of the thumb...like...hard! I was surprised at that. The BCM went right back on...ugly thing that it is...form follows function. When I put a patch down the barrel I got metal slivers all over the patch, so I tore the gun down and cleaned everything. Then did the patented trigger job while there. Also typical oiling, etc. Didn't find another sliver, no peeling chrome...nothing. That was weird. So, despite that initial finding...everything in the gun looks FANTASTIC. There aren't very many American companies left that make guns this nice. Honestly...(and I love my AUG) Steyr USA doesn't hold a candle to this. ...and Springfield couldn't do this on their own if they tried. Like the xD, this is one of the very best guns that Springfield doesn't make. (which are the only Springfield guns I will own...my VERY old M1A excepted) I really like this gun and I want to thank EVERYONE that has had input in this thread. I was able to make a pretty well informed decision and I am happy I bought this. Now...for that stupid effing Renaissance Fair to end ( GOD I hate that thing ) so I can get out of town and shoot this. View Quote Yeah, a little light oil on the sear and other contact surfaces had a noticeable effect of the perceived weight of the trigger. I couldn't find my moly grease, but that will be next to try... |

It's a Magpul grip, but not sure which model. Has the rubberized coating. Bought the gun used and it was on there. The angle is nice. |

I don't understand how if my sub $1K Colt LE rifles and cheap Cugir AKs can have a CL barrel, why can't a $1600 rifle have one. My Tavor and SA-58 had one. Even PSA can do it without breaking the bank. I handled the Hellion, and really liked it, but that was one of the things holding me back. You might think prepping reasons are a silly reason not to buy a rifle, but to me it matters, when the cost and final analysis are added up. Eternity is coming for us all. It cannot be denied, debated or avoided.
We would do well to ponder how we're going to spend that eternity, because eternity is a long time to be wrong. |

Is a white version of the VHS in the works? That would be Star Wars goodness.

While the two nations have what look like good relations (which is unusual given… well, the Balkans) they don’t share a border. Croatia may be hesitant to have a dependency on a strategic resource outside their control that could be blocked when the next inevitable shitfest goes down. Serbia is also short on chromium which is why historically Zastava didn’t use lined barrels. It’s a major selling feature for them now so they’ve figured it out but Zastava is a little more mature than HS Produkt. |

FAB Defense ULTIMAG
magazines drop free from my VHS-2. |

Speaking of drop free. (If anyone cares for more info. Too, some guns will be different from others so YMMV)
P-Mags drop free in mine. Lancers seat a bit mooshy but do lock in and drop free. Brownell's 20 round Gov't model AR mags drop free. Daniel Defense DD32s drop free. |

I'd buy that for a dollar!
