I have a quick question about the scope on the AUG A3 M1.  On the models I've seen available so far, the 16" version comes with the 1.5x optic and the 20" version comes with the 3.0x optic.  However, weren't all the original A1/A2 scopes 1.5x?  I will be buying one of these around the end of the year and would like to get as close as I can to a 20" A1/A2 clone.  Based on that, should I stick with the 1.5x optic?  A dealer on Gunbroker informed me that he can have a 20" version with a 1.5x optic made by Steyr if needed.  Thanks.

We have both in stock, green 20s with 1.5 and 3x power scopes.

Yes all the A1s and A2s had 1.5 power scopes, that was one of the complaints! Most wanted more power scopes.

The best sellers for us are the 16" black and 20" green both with 3x power scopes!

So far we have only sold 2 with 1.5 scopes!

Thanks,

Do you feel the resulting eye relief for the 3.0x optic (vs. the 1.5x) is burdensome?  In other words, do you find you have to keep your cheek on a very fixed area of the stock in order to maintain a good sight picture?
