Does the A3 gas block have a chrome lined gas chamber ? Can someone provide a close up pic of the chamber.? I ask due to my Sabre Defense era A3 doesn't look like it has a chrome lined chamber and seems difficult to get clean.
Thanks !! |

Why are you cleaning it?
I didn't see my piston for damn near 20K rounds on my Sabre A3, and I never had a hiccup. When I did finally clean it, I used Slip 2000 carbon killer, and it looked like new. But to answer your question, I checked both my Sabre and FN barrels, and they are both the same black finish as the exterior. |

I had the rifle apart, so I figured I might as well. I'm still not concerned with cleaning the piston, spring or piston chamber, but I did decide at that point to take it out more often to make sure the slots in the gas rings were lined up. I've never used the adverse setting, and I'd like to keep it that way. |
