I see many for sale with the standard tulip hider/brake (I'm not sure if its a hider or brake).
However, I see others that have a more standard looking device, with two oval holes on the sides and probably the top.
I thought the tulips might be VLTOR and the other might be SABRE, but can't tell.

Do many companies make brakes for the AUGs thread pitch, or is an adapter the main option?

The one with the two oval holes is the Steyr made brake, not sure if they are making it anymore.

You can get 13x1L flash hiders from AAC and YHM, not sure if there are really any other sources for them.  I considered doing a run of flash hiders for them but honestly there did not seem to be a lot of demand.

Ratworx sells 13x1L to 1/2x28 adapters.
