I was pretty dissatisfied with my AUG's trigger, coming from AR platforms equipped with Geissle SSA-E and Rockriver NM the stock AUG trigger left alot to be desired. I installed a Nue-trigger in my AUG , along with a fluff-n-buff and some lube the trigger ended up alot more crisp/predictable and lightened up a bit but it was still a bit too heavy for my taste so my search continued.
After a few lurking sessions here on AR15 I was enlightened to the existence of the 20/20 triggerpack and I was very hopeful until I discoveed after waiting 5 months on a list that the triggers were still 14 months out. So the search was on again and I learned about the K&M Trigger Lightning Mod.. I liked what I read and ordered one up and received it about 3 days after ordering it. I recently installed the Lightning trigger mod and that did the trick. The Lightning -Trigger mod along with the Nue-trigger combined qualities to produce a trigger that is very short (less than 1/8 inch) travel, clean predictable break and about 4 pound pull at the middle setting. I think I am pretty satisfied with my trigger as it now rivals just about any AR single stage I have tried and it only cost a total of $80 and took about 10 minutes total to install. I highly recommend the Trigger Lightning from K&M Aerospace and The Nue-Trigger insert if you are dissatisfied with your stock ,heavy bullpup trigger and cant wait for the 20/20 trigger-pack (although I might still buy one when I come up on the list) |

I bought the neu-trigger and really liked it, and have considered the lightning as well. The neu-trigger certainly gave it a better, more metallic/traditional feel, if that makes any sense. not to mention a mild reduction in trigger weight. Yep, good way to describe the Nuetrigger effect. Try the Trigger Lightning and you will have a very short travel 4-5lb trigger. You can have it at about a 3 lb trigger with the lowest setting...but the trigger wont reset unless you release the trigger completely after each shot.. but that isnt hard to master at all with the short travel. |

How was the break on your trigger stock?
Heavy and clean or creepy crunchy? Did you try your trigger with only the lightning device or with only the Neutrigger? If so how did they compare in each configuration? The reason I ask is my bullpup has a clean but heavy trigger and was wondering if the lightning device induced creep, I have experienced this with only spring changes in other platforms. Thanks |

How was the break on your trigger stock? Heavy and clean or creepy crunchy? Heavy and moderately clean. Did you try your trigger with only the lightning device or with only the Neutrigger? If so how did they compare in each configuration? Nuetrigger first and it lightened the pull a bit but the real difference was the snap, it broke noticeably cleaner. The Trigger Lightening didnt do anything for the break positive or negative but it did shorten the travel by about half and it took off about 3-4 lbs of pull weight ( at the middle setting) The reason I ask is my bullpup has a clean but heavy trigger and was wondering if the lightning device induced creep, I have experienced this with only spring changes in other platforms. The T-L actually reduced overall travel of the trigger and added no creep. Thanks Glad to help |
