I wish I liked it, I love the concept but immediately after picking one up I discovered it was not for me. The whale of a front end is far to large to feel comfortable in the hand and the ergonomics of the pistol grip hurts my wrist to be in that position. The front of the weapon has alternatives available but the pistol grip angle makes it a no go for me. In an nut shell the ergonomics are not for everyone. |

Quoted: Great review, very informative. Now, the Tavor or FS2000? I like the design of the Tavor better, however until I get my hands on one and put a few thousand rounds through it I can't say which I truly prefer. But having firing the Tavor and handled it, it's basic design is more to my liking. |

This is part II in a series I'm doing covering the various bullpup firearms currently on the US market. Awesome. You and Hickok45 are the only gun guys I watch on youtube. |

Damn it, now I want an FS2000. I was talking with some friends at the gun show this weekend about the FS2000, and I had an idea for a custom paint job. Since it's sometimes called the "Tactical Tuna" then why not paint it to look like a "Big Mouth Billy Bass"? Or maybe a bluefin or yellowfin instead. |

Hickok is a great guy, I'm lucky to be able to call him a friend. I enjoy watching his videos too... and having shot with him I can say he's one of the best shots I've ever seen. |

I regretted removing the gasket. Removal of the gasket does not allow any benefit to magazine fit for polymer magazines, it makes the magazine rattle slightly and it's not even 100% drop free.
The security the gasket provides, such as stopping some debris from entering the weapon, as well as the snug hold that can reduce the chance of an accidental magazine drop/ loss are more beneficial than having it removed for easier magazine removal in my opinion. |

Wait, the published data I can find says the F2000 has a 15.75 inch barrel, with OAL of 27.08 inches. It should have only needed .25 to .3 inch barrel increase to be legal, if semiauto. I thought legal minimums for a rifle were 16 inch barrel/26 inches overall when ready to fire.

The legal lengths for an American rifle are 16" barrel and 26" overall length. They could have easily made it 14.5" with a permanent brake and got it just above 26", but again I think it was something to do with sporting purpose/importation or even opening up the market to places like CT and other places where 26" doesn't cut it. |
