I've decided that I want to mount a light on the right side of the receiver tucked in as tight as possible and use a tape switch mounted to the stock above the front edge of the trigger/pistol grip guard. I'd really prefer an offset light mount that will provide some adjustment to tuck that light in there and have that mounted to the top rail and not a side rail. Hopefully I've explained that well enough that everyone has an idea what I'm talking about.
I've seen the CAA mount and am considering it, but it looks bulky. The other thing is, does anyone know of a tape switch that has momentary and click-on capability? Thanks! |

I think I understand what you're after. I don't know if you've considered this, but the closer you get to the receiver and the farther back from the end of the barrel you go, the more shadow you're gonna get in your light. I don't know of any other adjustable light mount than the CAA. Maybe you could go with something like this:
