But MSAR magazines (XM30's) won't fit in an AR15.How can this be? Any AR15 mag I have tried so far fits in my E4 just fine. But not the other way around.I brought the E4 to the range, along with a Colt 6920,and only brought the MSAR  mags with me.No luck shooting the Colt.Did everybody except me already know this or what?

From what I have read the are SUPPOSED to fit AR's. I tend to think that perhaps the Colt magwell is tighter than other mfr's and hence why you cannot insert the mag. Do you have another AR to test them for fit?

The MSAR magazines don't fit properly in much of anything when loaded to 30 rounds.  And mine tend not to function with more than 20 rounds loaded.

Time to buy some Magpul's.  I wouldn't trust MSAR mags anyway and they would have saved themselves a ton of time and trouble shipping E-4's with P-mags.

I don't have an AR to try mine in. My friend does though-the next time I go shooting with him I will have him try my E4 mags...

Mine function fine in a RRA and Bushmaster.  They do not drop free but as far as locking into place and feeding the weapon.  They are okay
