Okay, I know that asking WHEN we'll see the first MSAR conversion is a pointless endeavor, but maybe someone can tell me which caliber will come first?

7.62x39, 6.8 spc or 5.45...?

Of those three, i know i'd rather see 7.62 first as i have 9k rounds for it.  :)

Same here, and my money is on that one being first as well (if I were a betting man).

+1      The 7.62x39 is a highly economical, reliable, heavy hitter.  I'm wishing on stars to see that kit first and soon!   lol

If I had my way it would be .22lr.

6.8 will come first. Easier to configure for the E4 than to make a whole STG mag. [cough]STG762[/cough]

You will see caliber conversons for the STG.  They will consist of a bolt, barrel, and stock changeout.  With the added benifit of being able to run STANAG mags in 556 and have all sorts of rail attachment points.

Well, I'm still hoping the 7.62x39 can be ran from the STG mags with a new follower. There aren't many (C-products that I know of) reliable 7.62x39 AR magazines out there and I'm not all that crazy about the E4 stock. Now if MSAR would make a stock that accepted AK mags, that would also be just peachy.

At one time we took a look at the idea of doing a stock that used AK mags.  (*Note- this was a look and is not going to happen!)  The way that you have to "rock in" a AK mag caused the pistol grip to interfere with the mag.  We even looked at doing some sort of a "Ed Brown" bobtail to the stock, but it would have been pretty drastic.
