Just purchased my 1st MSAR STG556 . It is the railed version, however I was wondering if I will be able to equip it with an original scope? If so, does anyone know where one can be purchased?

Yes, it can be equipped with an MSAR optic. The only place to find them is on the secondary market, there are usually one or two for sale on the AR15.com equipment exchange at any one time.
There are two different versions, the STG-556 and the E4 optic, the only difference is the E4 optic is 1/2" higher and is a little better if you have 'fat cheeks' or a big face/strong cheekbones. the STG model scope usually goes for around $250 used, the E4 around $300-$325. |
