I'm finally in a financial position where I can consider getting a new carbine rifle, and I was looking at getting an AUG style weapon.

What is the going rate for one of these rifles, either an E4 or an older version of the rifle?

What does the after market parts market look like?

How reliable are the rifles?

thanks

As the previous poster indicates there is plenty of discussions on the E4 or the previous StG model.

In summary...prices range from ~$1000 (StG) - ~$1300 (E4) range.  Contact Ratworx for excellent prices and service to buyers.

Aftermarket is limited at this time, but many rail-mounted accesories from the AR world can be used on the E4 model because of its rail capabilities. Based on the ammo used, operator maintenance/use/familiarity and break-in they are reliable.

$1070 for a "rail" STG556 from Ratworx. And yes it will be the latest version from Ratworx.
