My local arms dealer has a 556 ser# 5139 w/ no add ons for 1899.00
also one ser # 7099 with factory optics for 2199.00. What model will the
later one be ? what design changes will it have?

It is still the STG-556 but that serial should have the square housing lock and quick remove ejection port cover, i.e. gen V

Gun Broker is your friend brother. Costs like a buck to join and then all you have to do is line up an FFL to do a transfer, pay like $25 for that, and then shipping.

Local dealer around here has a Gen 4 railed version for $1699 cash. One of the better prices I've seen on one lately.
