Are they bringing out a version that takes AR Mags?

If so, why would anyone want the style that takes their own mags and AUG mags?

I am VERY close to getting the STG (4th gen) and just want to make sure
I am not making a mistake by waiting.

Yes, the E4 (AR Mag variant) is coming. I personally do not own an AR so the need for AR compatibility is a mute point. For me, the STG mags work fit the bill.

O and if you choose to wait for the E4 you wont be waiting very long
