Given Gen I, II, and III hammer packs need to be modified by MSAR to function properly in the Gen 4 rifles, after these alterations will the packs still be serviceable with the Gen I, II, and III STG's?

Thank you. I appreciate your assistance. I have a Limited Edition and recently added a Gen IV: it would be good to have the Gen I hammer pack able to be utilized in both rifles. To have the Gen I hammer pack modified will I have to return the complete rifle, or simply the hammer pack itself?
