Well, I looked through the 9 pages of threads and read the MSAR OP manual, but can't find the answer to this question...how do you adjust the gas system?  The serrated ear on the gas plug doesn't move up, down or side to side.  The manual just tells you "push down the serrated ear."  What am I missing?  I want to chage the setting to the big dot.  Thanks!

The two ears at the top of the plug in the picture are spring loaded on a perpendicular axis to the ears.  Push down on the ears to "unlock" the gas plug in order to turn it.

Here is a pic of what I see on the bottom of the plug.  Since it is "keyed," pushing down on it doesn't do anything

Call or email Keith in the gunroom at MSAR and he'll email you a .pdf file on how the gas regulator works!~

Push the ears from the top (with the rifle oriented with the pistol grip down) and push the ears towards the bottom (the other side of that shown in your picture).

Duh.....Now I got it!  I was trying to push it down toward the butt.  I misunderstood which way "down" was.  Thanks everyone.!
