I just aquired a STG 556 with the A1 1.5 optic and according to information its a 2nd generation production unit with foreward assit, raised mag release island, 1.8 twist barrel and adjustible sling point locations on butt. The optic scope is clear and inpressive looking and for a clone firearm its a fantasic looking piece of enginering. The black stock design and sixteen inch barrel are the ticket and as soon as i can swing a deal a tan model with simular optics i will have one sure. The concept of using the yellow clear magazines from the original AUG waffle design are special and really add the cool factor to this top end american product. I could care less about a future release of the Aug when products of this quality degree are avalible now which in my humble opinion will always be a popular and in high demand.

I aquired the 556 on trade deal by a young man that needed a Colt SP1 Carbine, Model 6001. I added some extras to the deal and we made a direct trade for the 556. The deal also came with five extra 30 rd yellow waffle mags. I think it was a fair deal as i added a NIB Colt 3x scope and added Pmag and HK maritime magizines to the deal. The carbine was in excellent shape about NRA 92 percent. After receiving the STG 556 i was really a big on the FNH FS 2000 and now i am not so sure, i think i need one more STG in tan with optics and we will be happy.
