Where is it located on the optic?  If you are referring to the third knob on the optic, I believe that is what actaully affixes the actual optics tube assembly into the carry handle casting.

There's a knob for elevation, one for windage and the third one is listed as the "fixing screw" in the manual.

SHould be the one that holds the tube in the carry handle as I mentioned before.  Unscrew it and see what happens!

I am 99% sure the fixing screw is the one that holds the tube in the carry handle.  There is no reason to mess around with it, the other two knobs adjust windage and elevation.
