I'll start off by saying I have a Dillon 650 on its way so I'm excited about that. It's going to be a huge step for me because I'm using a Lee turret press.
My girlfriends father wants to load some 10mm for his glock. What is the go to powder for this round? To me this is one of those odd ball rounds, like .357 sig. there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of places to buy 10mm cases like 9mm or .40. |

I like Unique for medium power loads, although I never really experimented with these much.
For full power, I have had good luck with Blue Dot, Power Pistol, and Longshot. I bought 2k Starline for brass. It sucks shooting it because I'm usually almost as worried about where the brass landed as I am where the bullet hits

Caliber: 10mm
Gun: Coharie MP5 clone Load: Precision Delta 165 FMJ with 8.0 Unique powder & LP primer averaged 1390 FPS Caliber: 10mm Gun: Coharie MP5 clone Load: Precision Delta 180 FMJ with 11.2 Blue Dot powder & CCI LP primer averaged 1499 Haven't clocked 'em while Glockin'. Like AJE I hate loosing brass, at least with the MP5 I can attach a brass catcher to it. |

I went through this a few years ago and ended up with Power Pistol.
ETA: IIRC it burned quickly and didn't take up a lot of room (good for max loads). Was also flashier and more of a sharp crack compared to others, so more pizzazz at max loads if that's what you're after (most 10mm guys like big guns acting big). |
