I am still reloading from a Lee single stage press using hand tools to prime the brass.  I did just purchase the Lee Quick Trim that attaches to the top of the press with its own individual die for each caliber.  That is saving my hands and fingers from the hand tools that trim and bevel the case mouth.  I just finished priming 120 cases of .223 brass.  There must be a better way.  I've seen the contraptions and tools for bench top priming.  What does everyone here do to prime cases?

With a hand prime

But why not get the primer feeder for your press instead if you don't want to use the hand prime?

I use the Lee Bench primer.  It's like $25 and works amazing.

I use the Lee Bench Primer too ^^^^ for all my rifle cartridges. I prime on the press (progressive) for pistol rounds.

My hand primers gather dust now.

Lee makes a Ram Prime upgrade for single stage presses. If you bought the Safety Prime kit as well, you would be priming completely on your press.

If you buy an RCBS hand primer you will probably never need to replace it for breakage in your lifetime. I think I wore out 3-4 Lee hand primers before I wised up and bought my RCBS.
