How are Rainier bullets?? Looking at reloading some handgun ammo and was looking at there leadsafe bullets.
Is accuracy good. Thanks |

Rainier seem to have a thinner plating than other brands.
I'll use them for low velocity 45ACP loads when I find them on sale, but that's it. Like DryFlash, I much prefer Xtreme bullets over all the other plated brands. Xtreme have a thicker plating, very good pricing, and even offer a heavy plated 9mm bullet for hot 9mm loads. Have used Xtreme for 9mm, 45ACP, 38 Special/.357 Magnum, 44 Special/44 Magnum, have found no reasons to use anything else except as stated above. |
| Tagged...thanks for the recommendations. I've been using Berry's as a new handgun reloader to get started as they are what I can buy locally. Seems prices on the Xtreme bullets are comparable, need to take into account shipping (but not paying local tax....). I might grab a box or two |

Rainier seem to have a thinner plating than other brands. Bought some recently from someone getting out of reloading. Fairly cheap. I like to barely bell the case mouth so the bullet goes in tight. I peeled some of the brass plating on most of my 9mm. Will stick with berry bullets as I have never had an issue with berry bullets. |
