I came up with a target to use while developing loads.
Is it ok to share a link that host the PDF file?
I was hoping to get some feed back from everyone on the target.

Share away.
Even better if you post a pic of it beforehand

Here is the picture. Reason I was going to share the PDF is to get the size right.
Each square is 1/4"

As long as you don't try to sell anything, your GTG.

I have found light blue works better for me. My squares are 1 inch.

The square rotated 45 degrees allows the crosshairs to fall on the points.

Which I find helpful for shooting groups.

Not selling anything all free here is the link for the PDF so you could print at the correct scale.

Thanks, OP.  Downloaded both colors.  Will see if one color works better than the other.

I'll be giving these a try this weekend working up a new 300blk load since Hodgdon updated their Max charge weights

This is one I cooked up for use when doing load development.  I do development at 200 yards, so my grid is 1/2" squares.

I place the scope's reticle inside the gaps between the four larger squares.  The precision required to keep reticle between the squares is very high.  They also help you call every shot (point of aim at trigger release), which I do for every shot.

You can directly read group size - vertical and horizontal.

You can directly read point of impact (as opposed to point of aim).

Sorry for the poor image quality.  Everything should be squares.

I think I started a thread in GD about the target I had thought up.  It starts out as just one sheet of 8.5X11 paper.  When you are initially trying to sight in and "get it on paper", you print out 4 of them.  Then you arrange them like this:

You end up aiming at the center of a target that measures 17X22.

Somebody in GD with better skills and whatever graphics program made something up once he saw my idea.

I don't recommend red or orange aiming points as they wash out in bright light.  They're okay with enough magnification, but a color with better contrast works better.  Blues and greens provide a aim point with enough contrast for aiming, and yet .22 caliber bullet holes are visible at 200 and 300 yards.

Where did you find this printable target?

Target I use for load development is just plain A4. Once it's stapled to the frame. I use a mini level and a permanent marker, to do a single line + or a double thickness line +, depending on the rife/scope and distance 100-200 yards.

I like clean targets with no much going on. The levelled + is so when I line up the scope you know the she rifle is level each shot.

When RnD a load I try to remove as much error as I can from the users side. So the testing can give more positive results.

Edit:
Were to find free targets: 6mmbr site has a bunch. I got a bunch of free targets with my load development software from bazosoft.

I'll post a couple of the targets I use.  There are 20 or so loaded here, but I don't have time to link them now.

Even red targets -

I have several sized for pistol shooting, black squares, gray squares, and couple of experimental designs.  For some reason, the preview does not work for all of the images when I go to the folder, so posting those is a shot into the gray undefined square.

I like basic squares, 2-4" have had some issue with red/orange "blooming" on very bright days.

I put the reticle on the corner aligning one half of the horizontal and one half the vertical. If the load/gun is precise enough I get four targets per square.
