Third casting session went better. Probably about 30% rejects. Considering the MiHec was brand new I dont think that is bad.

300 blackout is a NOE .311 230 grain Flat nose. A guy over at CB removed the lube groves. It now drops around 244 grains.

9mm is a MiHec 359-125 (9mm) HP Flat base.

Nice looking bullets.

Those are some fantastic molds.    I'm glad I learned about them last and not first, or I'd have never bought a cheap lee mold.

Also this is personal preference, but I like running the sprue cutter out away from the handles.   To me it's one less thing to have to worry about not hitting the handles with your sprue whacking stick.

You should be breaking the sprues by hand, and not hitting the mould with a stick. Even four cavity mould sprues can be broken by hand once you get your timing right. Beating the sprue plate with a stick often springs it, and you can get uneven bases that look perfectly fine.

I whack mine. But i am a novice.

I like the sprue facing like it is as i dont have move it all around to get to the sprue.

This interesting but I'm not going to change. I use a small cow hide mallet to do everything. One little tap breaks the spur.

If you don't let the sprue cool, you can break it off by hand.

But I don't like the large chunk this takes out of the bottom of the bullet.

I will continue to tap the sprue cutter open. Been working fine for me all these years.
