Anyone use this stuff? Have a good 223 plinking or range load? I have about 8lbs I picked up on a panic buy a few years ago and need to get it loaded. Thought of buying some processed brass and some cheap bullets and load em up.

great stuff for accuracy.  I use it for 5.56, 6.8 spc and light bullets .308 loads.

For 55 grain 5.56 I use 24 grains.

When I ran out of AA2230 I picked some of the H322 up and used it in my 3 gun loads running 2850 fps.  Nice and accurate, loaded well on a 1050.  I'd buy it again for sure.  H335 worked well also.  I worked up the load and ended up right at max load (23.1g) on my 18" rifle length 1:8 barrel and was ringing steel on the clock @ 500 yards.  These loads were using 55gr Hornady Bulk FMJ.

Thanks guys. I picked up a 8lb jug with about 7.25lb in it for $75 off a guy. Figured I could find some reason to use it.

All my AR's love it.  23 grains under 55gn VMax.  Mild load but they shoot well.

Loved it with 40-50grn bullets.

No need for max loading.

JP Enterprises bull 1:9 would be sub MOA for 10 shots with slapped together mixed brass.

I use H322 on my bulk 55fmj loads.  22 grains of 322.   It shoots pretty good and is an easy weight to remember.

and as a further note if you load up the Hornady 150 grain FMJ for 308 with 41 grains H 322 it will shoot like 1/2 moa all day long as soon as you get the OAL right which for me is 2.74.

I run three varmint accuracy ar rigs with H322 and Hornady Zmax 50 grainers ($60'ish per 500), as do a couple other friends.   Haven't found an AR yet that couldn't be tuned to something pretty special with this combo.

Work up, all of mine found best accuracy below max.  I used these rounds from the dead of winter to the blazing hot prairie dog days ... seems to be very temperature tolerant powder for me, and a relatively cheap accuracy round to produce.

I just bought 16 lbs to load 6.8 spc with, from what I've read seems like a great all around powder. I have never used it. Until I just started on the 6.8

I'm new to the whole AR15 reloading game. I have a few questions for you H322 guys...

I'm looking for a powder that provides great accuracy out to 300 yards, excellent for three gun and delivers low recoil with fairly high fps to match my 1-6x BDC reticle. I'm using CCI primers, 55gr. Hornady FMJ's out of my modded FF 16" Bushy.

I've experienced...
IMR4198 - excellent at 21gr., chrono'd at 2,930 fps, 1MOA at 100 yds., no issues at all out to 300, low recoil. I really like this powder, but I'm new and I know there are a ton of .223 poweders out there.
H335 - still experimenting with load, recoil is definitely more than the IMR4198 and its chronoing much lower at higher charges? Would that be, because of the slower burn rate and higher charge?

How do you guys like H322 and how does it kick in comparison to IMR4198 and H335? I know, I know, .223 doesn't kick, I get it, but I need speed and it does make a difference. All feedback on the H322 powder is much appreciated.

Thanks guys!

H322 can be accurate and is temp stable, but usually does not give the fastest velocity.

I use it mostly for 6.8 SPC though.
