If this is in the wrong place, please let me know where it should be posted.
I have a bunch of .264 WinMag reloads and empty brass and ammunition that came from my wife's grandpa's estate that I've been charged with selling. Grandpa had a Sako Finnbear in .264 WinMag which is the reason I went out and bought my Sako Finnbear in .30-06. His gun disappeared before he died and we think his son (now also deceased) probably pawned it. I'm trying to figure out what to do with the brass and ammo and what it may be worth. There are 6 full boxes of new (old stock) ammunition. Of that, two are newer boxes of loaded Winchester ammunition (white box) and 4 are old Peters boxes of loaded ammunition. All of it has 140 grain SP bullets. There are 6 partial/full boxes of reloads (104 rounds loaded), all of it has 140 grain bullets, with a mix of R-P, Super-X, and Super Speed headstamps. Each box is labeled with the load data. There are 80 empty brass which also is a mix of R-P, Super-X, and Super Speed headstamps. All of it except the two boxes of newer Winchester loaded ammunition appears to be from the mid 1960's - early 1970's. Any help would be appreciated.

You want to list/sell in the EE, equipment exchange, right here. http://www.ar15.com/forums/f_7/114_.html

Be sure to read the EE rules before you post your items.

It's fine to get an idea of prices in this forum, however any poster posting WTB (want to buy) in this thread is breaking the site rules, and I will have to take action.

So that is why you would sent OP and IM, and no rules broken.

Good luck OP.

No replies from anyone here. All the listings I've been following on GunBroker have been going unsold. It looks like .264 Win Mag is a dog that nobody wants.

One of my dad's friends had one when I was a kid back in the 60's. It's an impressive round and I loved shooting it, but a limited market now days.

It's a shame too, because the round performs better than most of the newer ones in the same class. I think the biggest reason is the belted case.

It's hard to go wrong with a 120 grain bullet at 3300 fps and a 140 at 2900.

I load .264 for 3 different rifles, so check IM Finnbear.
