So I was trickling some powder and thought it would be cool to power it.  This was what I thew together real fast.  It worked well and made trickling faster.

Where there's a will there's way.  How do you control the speed.

I dont need to control the speed, it runs fine on 3V(2 AA batteries in series) the gear reduction helps too.  I have a momentary push button to pulse it on/off as needed.  It will throw .05gns pretty easily.

Looks good, curious on what type of motor you used. I have plans to build one that will automatically stop when the scale beam gets to desired height so motor type would help .

Neat, I was thinking of building a case prep station with a low range tamiya gear box.

The motor and gear box is from an RC airplane.  Sorry I don't remember which plane.

I have a foot switch, I'm thinking about trying.

I don't know squat about RC motors.  I looked on a few websites and the prices are all over the place.  Any hints or tips on what to look for are appreciated.

I don't know exactly ratio of what I have, but this Gearbox and motor will be very close.

I'm also using this Firewall Mount to attach the gearbox to the 2x4

Very nice OP. The ingenuity of some of the people here amazes me.

Lately I have been throwing powder into an empty case and tapping the case to "trickle" faster. It's easier than pulling out my trickler to do small batches.
