Hello all, I just picked up at RCBS master reloading kit. its brand new never opened from 1996 or 97 it's got alot lot more stuff than the new supreme master kit.

I got the kit, 100 new primed .45 brass, 100 once fired .45 brass. 60 once fired .308/7.62 brass.

I picked the lot up for $200. That's a good deal right.

Sounds like a good deal to me.  I started with the supreme kit myself.

Very little from that kit that I don't still use today.

If you haven't already, I'd suggest getting a few reloading manuals.

Lyman 49th and Hornady 9th are good supplemental material to the Speer manual that I assume came with your kit.

If you're interested, I've got Hornady 8 and Nosler 6 manuals that you're welcome to have.

Really? What do you want for the books? I'm gonna start reloading .45 and .308.

Thanks for the help

Yes you did good. I started with a similar kit in 1985. I'm still using most of that kit too. I affectionately call the Speer manual I got with that kit my HOT manual because many of the max loads in that manual are much hotter than what you see in manuals today.

Yes, that was a good deal.

To ask "where to find" components please use the tacked thread at the top of the page. (so I won't have to lock this thread)

Go up to LINKS to find links to venders. Midway, Wideners, Midsouth, Natzhez, Graf, ect.

Just a mention here since it sounds like you are just starting but ready to roll.

Find a mentor if at all possible. Start with smaller sample batches and don't pull the trigger on huge volume batches till you are more confident.

I think I can keep this within the rules.

I get my components wherever I can. You have to be aware that some items carry a hefty hazmat charge so you have to keep that in mind.
