I own a PACT MK IV XP Timer....and now I was looking to purchase a Chrono for my hand loads, when I realized the PACT timer already includes Chrono functions.  I just need to purchase the skyscreens with sensors.

Anyone else running this rig?  Any tips or suggestions?

I plan on shooting out doors in (hopefully diffused) daylight.  Will the newer IR sensor skyscreens be of any advantage to me, or are they only for indoor use?

I know PACT has a history of funky reliability and customer support......but since I already have the timer, I figured the skyscreens were the least expensive solution for me.

It will work.

The IR skyscreens are really intended for indoor use but will work anywhere.  If you are outdoors in sunlight you might not want to bother with the IR screens, lights and power source.

The plastic diffusers that fly overhead provide a matte background for the sensors so they can detect the passage of the bullet.

Anyone know a source or good dealer for the non-IR SunScreens with sensors?
