So was wondering if I have to fl resize fire formed brass fired from my ar and to be used on the same ar or can I just neck size? Was looking to get some good dies and I think the lee does a great job but my sizing decamping pin won't stay put. TIA ??

I know some high power shooters only neck size their fireformed brass; but that's for the single load, slow fire stages.

I'm not sure how reliable feeding will be during semi-auto action

FL resizing is recommended, mainly because if a round is a bit oversized, a semi-auto cannot force a round into the chamber like a bolt action can.  Same applies to lever actions.

OK, Your sizing question has been answered.

Your Lee de-capping pin is held by a collet. Sometimes it is necessary to remove the entire pin, take some sand paper and scuff it up a little.

You are NOT sanding it, you just want to roughen up the surface of the rod a little.

This will let the collet get a better bite on it.

Make sure you tighten it good. Use 2 wrenches, one on the die body and another on the collet nut.

Hope this helps.

BTW: It's designed that way to avoid breaking de-capping pins. It should still move before breaking anything even after the "fix" I described.

Always, always Full Length size for semi-autos.

It is good practice to always resize.

Cool guys thank you,and yes I was thinking of scuffing it a bit so will do. Since we're talking about it does it affect the neck size of you move the pin up or down in the collet?

No, but if you have it to low, it may bottom out inside the case making contact with the base.

The above is correct.

And after you think your sizing die is set, chamber a few sized cases and ensure they eject properly.

You don't want a bunch of loaded rounds that won't chamber because the sizing was not done correctly.
