How do you think the best way to clean these would be. They are pulled 55 grain .224" from isreali ammo. They have sealant and some corrosion on them. Would like them bright like new. Dry tumble or wet tumble, or something else? I have about 500 of them in perfect shape with no pull marks.

Wet tumble would probably do it. Dry tumble probably wouldn't get all the stuff off.

Another thread mentioned cleaning the sealant on TTBC's by soaking in acetone.

I haven't tried it yet, but it seems like it should work.

Birchwood-Casey case cleaner might work.

Can soak in Lemishine, 45 ACP case to 1 gallon water.

Or can dry tumble in walnut. Don't overload tumbler, bullets are heavier than cases.

A soak in acetone or lacquer thinner will remove the asphalt sealant. Tumble them to shine them up. I've tumbled tarnished bullets in a vibratory tumbler with walnut shell and it did a good job after the tar was removed.

I will do some experiments and let you know. Thanks for the info.

Ultra low odor mineral spirits would work very well. Cheaper, less odor, less flammable.

I have no idea what is in that stuff,  but it is hands down,  the best cleaner Ive ever used.

Acetone to get rid of sealant.  Then a trip through polisher with walnut and Iosso or Dillon case polish.

Cleaned up the bullets. Couldn't get them 100% but good enough. Not sure what some of the corrosion is but its on there. Acetone cleaned up the sealant easy enough. Then tumbled in walnut and polish for hours then soaked them in lemishine... Cleaned about half pretty good and all the big crude but wouldn't touch the bad patina. Through them all in the wet tumbler with lemishine for about 2 hours and got about 90% bright. Good enough to blast. Thanks for the tips. Will put a picture up later.
