looking for a wad for #4 buck or 00 buck that mimics or replicates the federal flight control wad, any one have any suggestions ?

Don't know if you could do it or not but BPI Ballistic Products sells "unslit" wads. Possibly they have one similar and you could cut the wads yourself? I'd call BPI and ask their tech's your question.
