So only on my armscore projectiles 55 gr fmj after i seat a bullet (these are light loads) if roll in on the table i notice the bullet isnt perfectly strait in the case or something there is a slight off center or wobble. will this hurt anything other than accuracy being shot through a bcm upper? I have shot a bunch of these loads already and they shot fine but i just noticed the wobble thing.

Im getting ready to go shooting and wanna know if it is ok to shoot these if they have a little  "wobble" to them. Not expecting accuracy out of these loads.

It's important to start a bullet straight into case when seating it. Don't depend on the die to "straighten" out the bullet.

Why I like Hornady dies, they have a sleeve that seats bullets straight. Some other high end dies also.

It's also possible you are doing something wrong when sizing to cause out of round necks.

Poor quality cases, uneven neck thickness, could also contribute.

It's called "RunOut" and although cheap bullets can exaggerate the problem, most bullet runout is caused by the sizing die and the expander button.  Competition seating dies can help reduce runout, but they cannot overcome the damage caused by the sizing die.

Don't worry about it, unless you are in search of extreme accuracy.  Even then it may have little affect on accuracy.  Some of my rifle are particular about RunOut, most are not.

Ok thanks for the help guys. I cleaned my dies and reset them. I think I need to take more time deburring and chamfering.

Old technique of spinning the case around a couple of times as you seat the bullets does help to reduce runout. Works well on a single stage or turret, but not so well when loading on a progressive.

For plinking don't worry about it.
Russian, xm193, xm855 and many others are all pretty bad in the run out dept.

Minimizing it is worth it if accuracy is your goal.

Very good point.

I have found that many 45 degree de burring tools will actually create a burr of their own on the inside of the case neck. This is especially true after the tool is worn a little. Years ago I switched to a VLD inside de burring tool.

OP, Do you ever notice any jacket material shaved and laying on the case mouth after seating a bullet? It often just looks like copper dust. This is a dead give away that a burr still exists in the case mouth.
