| Anyone have an 'in-sight' on what is going on with Sierra brand bullets? I need to get hunting bullets for some of my hunting rifles and have had a difficult time finding them. Even the Sierra sight shows about everything in a 'back order' status. I can understand some pistol and .22 cal bullets but not some of the rest. |

Sierra, like others, does bullets in runs. I've had 30 cal 180 RN on order for almost a year. I cancelled the order. I would venture to say most if not all of their bullets were going to manufacturers right now.
If I were you, I would place an order with Brownells or Midway or anyone who will let you back order and wait it out. If you find them before the order comes in, cancel your order. |
| Thanks all, I have been watching several sources. I spent some money/time stocking up on powder when I could find it, so now I am working on hunting bullets. Plinking bullets can be found and I shoot a lot of cast bullets, which are not hard to find. It is just the hunting bullets that I am used to. I have talked to some of the guys at the range and I may need to look at other brands. |
