Ive been searching around for data loads for 9mm, 115gr Hard Cast from Colorado Cast Bullets located in Montrose Co. The data I have in speers 11 only has fmj or hp. Searching the interwebs has been inconclusive as the starting loads with Unique powder vary from 4.5 to 6.0 gr from various sources. The same goes for OAL.

Here is what I believe might work.
Oal- 1.15 or 1.090
115gr. Start at 4.5 then work my way up. (Unique powder)

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Shooting a 115gr cast bullet you should be safe with the charges you listed.

The success you'll get from that load will depend on the diameter of the bullet vs the diameter of your barrel.

Best of luck.

Speer 12th edition also shows a 125g LRN load starting at 4.1g and max of 4.5g of Unique. COL is 1.130.

Thanks for the replies. I started with 4.5gr and made bullets up to 5.2gr. Ill shoot the first groups before 5.0 and see if it is too hot. I heard a person state that you know you found the right oal and powder charge when the residue in the casing turns from black to grayish.
