I have had this .308 handloader kit for about a year now and I'm finally messing around with it.
all my brass is already full length resized and primed so I used it just to charge and seat about 10 rounds (I got the thing as a novelty) after the most frustration experience of setting seating depth in my life I got it! well my brass is coming out with rings/scratches around the base of the brass where the decapping chamber stops and the die body begins is this normal? did it do this because I used full length resized brass that was loose? I ordered a 9mm kit the other day too because I think I'll have more opportunity to play with that one. I'm still messing with load development with my .308 so I haven't really bothered with the handloader. |
