Have been looking into a powered case trimmer for doing .223 cases. Was set on the WFT, but came across the CTS trimmer. Does the same job and is cheaper, plus I like the wide open sides. I would buy one, but can't find it for sale anywhere. Is it still being made? Thoughts?

Email Jim Prior @ [email protected].  He is the one who makes them.  I bought a few of them from him.  Great guy will do business with again.

How do you like the trimmer?

I like it a lot.  it is a little hard to adjust it to the correct length if you don't already have a sized and trimmed case ready to go.  It works well and is very fast.  i would recommend it.

I own one. I agree adjusting it can be difficult. I just dug through a pile of brass until I found one with a safe length on it. Mine leaves a scuff mark on every case I trim but it hasn't affect any of the cases aside from appearance. I plan to mount mine to a drill press or some kind of permanent setup. Using a drill works but can be cumbersome.

Mounting in a drill press is a great way to go.  I mounted mine in my bench press.  Turn it on and go to town.

I bought trimmers in .223 and .308.  As they came they were both set to the middle of the length range.  The set screw was obviously tightened by a circus strong man.

Jim Pryor is excellent to deal with.  I bought mine when he was offering them on eBay.  Since I made two separate purchases I was charged twice for shipping.  Jim contacted me right away and said there would only be ons hipping charge since both trimmers were shipping at the same time.  I had a couple of technical questions and received answers very quickly.  I would not hesitate to deal with him again.

I have one of the CTS power trimmers.. I had #4 of the first 5 pre-production G2.0 models, and then Jim upgraded it to the G2.5.  I love it.

This is the G2.0

And the G2.5, which has a secondary drive that spins at half the speed of the main trimmer.  Ideal for deburring, chamfering, reaming primer pockets.

Mine is fantastic. Hands down the fastest way to trim a specific caliber.

Jim is currently selling them on gunbroker. He stopped selling them on eBay a bit ago
