I am looking at loading up some 69gr SMK or 68gr Hornady BTHP.  Does anyone have any experience using on of these powder and bullet combinations?  How is consistency and accuracy?  FWIW I have Federal GMM small rifle primers and Winchester Small rifle primers

I use 748 for all my .223 & 308 rounds it works well enough for me and I have no complaints. It may not be the best but I like to stock up on certain powders that are versitile.

Winchester suggests 24.5 grains of WW-748 with these bullets. I have used 25.0 and 25.3 before I switched to extruded powders years ago (RE-15, Varget or VN-140 24.5 to 25.0). Don't let your ammo sit in the sun with WW-748, it will run the pressures up. Accuracy can be good in some rifles, but not as good as the extruded powders I listed.

That is kind of my line of thinking.  I have about 30lbs of 748, but I have only loaded 55gr to this point

24 - 25 grains with 62 gr SS109s and 69 Sierras shoot fine.

I just loaded a number of ladder rounds of the 69GR HPBT-Match bullets with 748 myself and am curious to see what results you get.  I loaded a number of 24-25GR rounds.  I also loaded some 52GR HPBT-Match bullets and plan on doing some 80GR bullets soon.
