This weekend I tried something new. For the past year or so iv cleaned brass in a hornady ultrasonic tank with dawn soap and lemonshine. I just couldn't get the brass to not tarnish and look dull/discolored. I recently have looked more into wet cleaning and think my problem was using to much soap/lemonshine. Anyhow this past weekend I tried something new. I used a regular hornady vibratory tumbler (used when cleaning with media) , filled with luke warm water a tablespoon of dish soap and a tablespoon of lemon shine. Ran for 30 mins , took the brass out rinsed in a sink of warm water with lemonshine , then rinsed with plain water. set out in the sun to dry and perfect sparkle clean!

Has anyone tried using this method?

Bad for vibratory cleaner?

Wet cleaning in general do you think there is enough acidic / soap residue left in the brass to affect the powder if the loaded rounds sit for awhile?
