Is there a way to retrieve the old posts from when Reloading was under the "General" community or is that information gone forever?

Have you tried searching under the archives tab?

Near top of the page, underneath the add banners, on the far right.

Have to be a Team Member like OP to have this tab.

Expect the pics to be dead, but you might get lucky.

I have searched the archives,  but can only find posts beginning with the move to the Armory Community. No posts from when Reloading was in the General Community. I was hoping there was some trick that I wasn't aware of...

I was looking for an old "score" post of mine. I listed a big pile of stuff I got from an associate at work. I lost my local copy and thought I'd pull it off the archives, but no joy. The post should be from 2008 (as I recall anyway).

That was a server move from General to here, so I expect it's fine'.

Archive only goes back to May 2008.

Didn't see your name on any of the 2008 threads that are there.

You would have had to have the picture hosted somewhere else anyway, wouldn't you?

It wasn't a picture, it was a text list.  Not the end of the world losing it, but it would have been nice...

Doing a threads started by user search in "All Communities," I get threads back to 2001. Unfortunately, nothing from Reloading until after the move to the Armory. Oh well. Life is full of heartbreak and tragedy. I'll just have to soldier on.

Posted a similar question in the Tech Support forum and Goat Boy adjusted the board code such that those old General Community posts are now searchable. What a great forum.

That wasn't it (was a good score though ). The one I was looking for was here:

The search was easy once Goat Boy fixed the code.
