I'm looking for a cheap, small, tape style label printer.  I always thought that's be slick as heck.  Type your info in, click print, then stick to box.  Peel off when all shot up. Repeat.

That's exactly what I do.  It's great... You can even store one's you use frequently.  Best $20 I ever spent.

Masking tape. Pretty simple, say a box is loaded with 185 grain lbnswc, 3.6 grains 700x, oal @ 1.15 tape is marked.

185/3.6, 700x/1.15

Doesn't get much simpler than that.

Yep.  Been using it for years.

And it fits whether on a 50-round plastic box, or a .50 cal ammo can.

I think I just got one at Office Max or something.

This is the one I have... $29 and I use it for EVERYTHING.  You can find cheaper models if you look.

Use it for your reloads, then make cutesy notes for your wife and leave'em around they house.  They love that stuff.

She's happy, and your organized.  Win all the way around.

I use several methods, stick on label on ammo box, card inside loose cartridges in an ammo box, and a card inside the see through cover of an ammo box. More data on the card on the inside.

I found a Brother QL700 on sale one day and of course I needed it for the office.......

I use a load log in excel then transfer data to the printer to make labels.  I have the printer connected to a small lap top set on the bench.  I can do load research in the house watching TV, enter the data, then next time I am out in the garage, open the excel document on that lap top and load the rounds.

For load work ups I use plastic boxes.  The labels are printed and put on 3x5 cards.  The back of the card has another label for notes at the range.  For batches of ammo I put the label on the box. Sometimes I put a duplicate card inside for range notes.  I keep the 3x5's for reference.

I color code calibers.  For example all my dies, shell plates, feeder parts for 45 ACP are marked red.  Ammo boxes are the same.

Printer and laptop (the excel load log is on the screen).  This is on my loading bench.

Various ammo boxes - batches with labeled boxes and test rounds in plastic boxes with cards.

The cards and labels - if you enlarge the photo you can see the data included.

This is the back of the 40 SW card in the above picture.  It is 20 rounds, 10 @ 5.5/red primer and 10 @ 6.0/blue primer.  All other data is the same.  I color primers to tell the rounds apart and enter that on the back of the data card.

I use "stick and peel " labels along with colored dots. I only load a few calibers and it`s very easy to record the info I need. Also allows me to use the same containers for different loads.

Love this method.  Word even has a program setup for it.

I even use the labels on some of my mags (scar and ar10 mags)

I use one of the Brother Label machines hooked up to the computer to make labels. When I am working up a load I will just put the info on a piece of paper inside the box. Once evaluated at the range then I make up the stick on labels.

A BIG Plus One for the Brother printer.  I've been using one for several years that was for work but ended up using it more for reloading.
