I searched for "TAC 55 gr load".but it did not return any results, so please just a bit of help.
I have an 18" 1 in 8 barrel and am looking for 3000 fps with a 55 grain FMJ bullet. Any ideas? Starting point? Pet loads? Thanks in advance Jay |

24.5 grains of TAC with a 55 grain hornady FMJ does just over 2800 fps out of my 16" barrel AR15. It would probably get you a bit closer with an 18" barrel, but I don't think you'll hit 3000. You can probably safely load a bit higher, make sure you work up loads properly and start low.
