I had this scale for about a year and just now it is starting to give me problems. Or I think.
The beam seems to be sticking and I tried to wiegh a 115 grain 9mm bullet (I know it's not accurate but I was trying to at least get close) and it wouldn't move and when I would adjust where it showed if it was level or not it just went up like if I put too much wieght on it. Any ways of how I can zero or any tips? I cleaned it too already. I wish I could buy a better scale but that is in the future due to funds. Thanks. ETA: After fucking around with it more I finally solved. The problem was that the beam was, get this, upside down... go ahead and laugh. |

On a level surface, place all adjustments on zero, put empty pan on scale. Then adjust foot until it reads zero. This is how you zero/ calibrate your scale. Are you sure you had the weight set at 115 grs? Sometimes you can get mixed up with the numbers. Also could the bullet weigh more or less then 115 grs? Maybe a 124 gr bullet? Just throwing out possibilities.

I spent an hour fiddling with it and different bullets and wieghts. Haven't seen an improvement.
When I got it I didn't pay attention, so the beam is suppose to go down when zero or be level to the markings when zero? It's been a month since I reloaded anything. Thanks. |

I have found its the little things we overlook that get us every time. At least you got it figured out and you know for next time. "and knowing is half the battle" G.I. Joe |
