| Please help me to understand. I bought some 308 cases that were supposed to be prepped and ready to load. How ever upon looking them over, the bullet would drop straight through if put into the case mouth. Does this mean they were not full sized when prepped or size or what. So do I just use my 308 full size die and resize or what.I put them in wilson case guage and they fall right in. Case is longer and appears to be untrimmed. Thanks, I Am new at this but have been reading and going slow and learning. Thanks guys, for help |

If the bullets fall in, then they fall in, so you're going to have to lube them up, resize them, then check and see if they're at the right length--2.005-2.015" and go from there. Chris |

Properly resized brass will not allow for the bullet to drop in. Most likely the seller just deprimed them with a Universal Decapping die. |

I suspect that prepped and ready to load to the seller meant deprimed and primer pockets swaged or reamed. Sounds like the buyer thought it meant something else. Exactly what did the for sale ad say?
IMO ready to load is ambiguous. Deprimed, swaged, trimmed, and ready to load is not. |
