Couple questions on these.
First, what vendor typically carries them? I don't want to know who has them in stock right now, just a few places to keep an eye on. Second, how does one get these in the first place (originally)? Are they from demilled ammo? How do you get to be "that guy" who pulls them down? |

Go up to Links, there are all of our favorite venders. Start clicking, save the ones you like. See... I could have sworn I saw them at Wideners at one point or another, but then I went there to look and didn't see them anywhere listed. I wasn't sure if it's just all the cold medicine I'm taking, or perhaps I'm just getting senile in my old age. |

At present, you just have to hit your favorite 10 or so sites daily looking for what you want. Took me awhile to fine some Lil'Gun powder two weeks ago. Don't give up.

Top Brass
Brass Bros Delta Firearms no .308 listed, but has pulled .223 and may get .308 in future... Poly Gun Bag Top Brass Inc Hi-Tech bullets I think has them also, but can't seem to get the page to load. (I think it is hi-techammo.com) |
I like the .308 tracers for shooting on the cheap. I think I bought a 50 caliber ammo can from Pat a few years ago for less than $200. Way over 3000 bullets in there.
You just can't shoot at some ranges and when conditions are dry enough where fire is a concern. Other than that, they make good blasting projectiles. |

Quoted: Mastercast is a good source but he has been out for a few weeks. Google the link for "Hi Tech reloading" or http://www.mastercast.net/ftp.mastercast.net/Other_Components.html Or this place: RMR pulled bullets http://www.shop.rmrbullets.com/ I stopped by there a week ago and he said the pulled bullets and pull down WC844 powder will be out of stock for many months. On a good note he said he has molds on order to add 147g 9mm lead bullets to his line-up this fall. |

Did he have anything to say about the "long term outlook" on pull-down supplies now that the troubles in Iraq and Afghanistan are winding down? |
