Whats a reasonable price for pistol brass? Im just getting into reloading (.40sw only at the moment) and am slowly accumulating all the pieces and parts which we all know is hard right now. Looking around at all the brass on the web and some locally, I was wondering what a average price you guys pay for brass is? I just don't want to get screwed. Thanks guys

start with checking the EE

I would stay away from gunbroker right now as their prices seem very inflated.

I don't know what's "reasonable" but I know that many of the online sellers of once-fired brass want a king's ransom for it.

One in particular wants $32 for 250 pieces plus shipping of nearly $10.

For .40 S&W I'd say a reasonable max. price in this day and age for a bag of 500 once-fired pieces might be around $20-25. I wouldn't pay any more than that esp. if the seller didn't bother to clean it first.
