what OAL do you use to load Nosler Varmageddon 55 gr

Nosler 7th edition lists a COAL of 2.260" for all their 55gr loads.

seat to mid-cannelure. If your projectiles do not have cannelures, follow your reloading manual.

Nosler does not list the OAL used during their testing. The OAL's listed in their manual is a simple cartridge drawing showing SAAMI max it is not what they used.

Page 42 in #6 gives Noslers instruction on how to find the proper OAL. Don't know what page that would be in #7?

I can see on each 223 load they do list "MAXIMUM S.A.A.M.I O.A.C.L  2.260" but in the 7th edition each load has a "Tested O.A.C.L" and not all are the same.
